Armor Road Cases stocks pre-cut double angle rack strips at some popular sizes including 2U, 3U, 4U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 16U, 20U, and 24U lengths.
These rack strips are made of 1.2mm steel and come with square holes, that measures 3/8″ x 3/8″ (9.525×9.525mm), and can easily be converted to a threaded hole by the installation of a cage nut. These cage nuts snap into the square holes and are available in a variety of threads. We stock compatible cage nuts and M6 20mm Pozi drive pan head screws that you can order along with the rack rail if needed.
In order to secure rack rails to the inside of the cases while avoiding the rivets and hardware, you can use small pieces of 9mm plywood between the rack rail and case wall so that the strip is installed on flush surfaces. Your finished racks should measure 485mm from the center of the square hole to the center of the square hole, left to right.
