This large surface mountable lid stay has a hinge built into it so that the road case’s lid stays still when opened and does not fall off.
This surface-mounted large lid stay also comes with a hinge so it is very easy to install compared to those lid stays in recessed dishes because there is no need to cut holes on the plywood panels nor installing piano or butt hinges next to them. It is very sturdy and gets the job done.
We recommend these large surface-mounted lid stays if you are building a road case out of 9mm or 12mm plywood panels.
